Overall, this is an "okay" hotel that offers great value for the price. The check-in process was professional and efficient; my friend and I received our key cards and necessary information promptly, including a welcome gift. The room was clean and well-kept, though it appeared a bit dated. The single, significant negative was a horrible cigarette smell, which unfortunately seems to be a common issue with enforcing non-smoking policies in China. The breakfast was a letdown. The selection lacked sufficient Western options, and I personally don't care for a bowl of noodles at 8 a.m. Additionally, the presence of only one coffee machine created a bottleneck, leading to wait times of up to 15 minutes for a single cup of coffee.
Quite far from the tourist area. But there are a lot of ride hailing var that are inexpensive.

Clean, spacious room, comfortable and well furnished for business & leisure travellers alike, with ergonomic desk-chair for working, coffee table, big sofa and comfortable bed, soft & hard pillows, attentive & friendly staff, sumptuous breakfasts. Hotel location is perfect & convenient, with Metro subway stop at front door, nice quiet neighbourhood, beautiful Kaiyuan Lake Park close by for a relaxing & romantic stroll in the evening after dinner !
