Econo Lodge

We stayed here for 1 night. It was the worst motel we had stayed at on our 8 day trip. We chose this motel due to the previous reviews. Im not sure they stayed at the same place or our standards are way different. I was told by another hotel that was booked for the night that this has been newly renovated...im not sure what had been renovated...maybe the floors. The beds were very hard and one of them squeaked everytime you moved. Good thing im a heavy sleeper cuz my sister said it sound like they were doing construction all night outside our door and you could hear the people above us walking around at all hours. She might had got a good 2 hrs of sleep. The toilet seat be careful cuz it might slide off, cuz it was not in correcly. They should not advertise a hot breakfast. It was 2 cereal choices, a handful of breads and a pancake machine...which we did not see the pancake mix. The sink sprayed you if u turned it on too much. I can say the water pressure in the shower was good. All in all we should had drove the extra hour and half to Amarillo to find something else.

This is an older property, but very well maintained. I Transport trailers and RVs and look for a place with good truck parking comfortable bed doors at lock and all the amenities at work and this place worked perfectly. The owner/manager was super helpful and friendly. I will stay here again if I come through this area or when I come visit through this area. If you’re looking for a gourmet breakfast, you need to spend two or three times as much as what you’ll spend for this place

The hotel was sufficient for our needs. We were just looking for a place to get a few extra hours of sleeping before getting back on the road. I wasn't concerned about extra amenities or activities. It is at a great location just off the interstate and was a good price. I booked the rooms in the evening for the same day- one night- check out the following day. We arrived and checked in about 4:30 am. I had no problems checking in. Of our 2 rooms, the keys to one never worked. However, staff came immediately to open the door. The rooms were fine, in need of updates, but were clean and comfortable. I believe breakfast is 6-9. We were down to breakfast at 8:30. There was coffee, milk, oranges juice, bagels, toast, cereal (cherrios and raisin bran), and pancakes with sugar free topping options. I read previous reviews to see what was included in the breakfast, but it was difficult to tell. Some reviews said it was very satisfying, others said it was disappointing/ non existent. I was hoping for at least some protein options since we are traveling far. There may have been more options earlier in the morning, but may have run out by the time we got there. Overall the hotel served it's purpose, we were all able to get good sleep after traveling all afternoon/night. It was clean, comfortable, affordable, staff was helpful, I was able to book short notice, and it did come with some breakfast.
