Dreamhouse Guesthouse

My kids and I enjoyed this wonderful place, panorama is fantastic !! Service, mainly breakfast, is perfect. Thanks to Luis for the welcome and the discussions ! Room was very nice with lots of windows that show the landscape. Just the bathroom was too open to the room for privacy. Not really a problem to me. And the swimming pool just for us was unique (and I swam into it even if it's cold in April 😅). Highly recommended (and hope loud motorbikes will stop all over the country soon, I know you work on it with your neighbours Luis !!)

The view was lovely and breakfast very good. Sadly, hospitality wasn't great and the rooms inconvenient. A friend and I had a twin room (separate beds) to find the shower is in the actual room itself and visible to all, so we had to rotate in and out of the room to shower which was inconvenient. The room had no fan or air con which was very uncomfortable in the summer heat, you woke up sweaty every morning, there's also no ventilation fan for the shower that's inside the room so the whole room goes steamy and damp. We had some weird interactions with a man at the property as well, I think the husband of the host. We held a braai in the evening and put it out well, but this man came along and fully hosed it out at almost midnight, it was so unnerving. He also came right up to our house door and was peering through and looked like he was trying to enter. Super creepy. The host Ivanka was stand offish with our group the whole time. We booked the entire premises - all 13 rooms - to ensure we didn't inconvenience any other guests and we ensured every day we left the place tidy and all dishes done etc and she still came making comments about noise because we were chatting (not loudly) at 10pm in the name of disturbing other guests... We were the only guests! Overall wouldn't return which is a shame because the area is lovely.

A beautiful and lovingly run B&B with a fantastic view. The property is very well maintained and located in a safe area. Ivanka speaks several languages, which made communication very easy. We felt at home from the very first moment, and our four-year-old daughter didn’t want to leave at all. The beach is not within walking distance; however, getting there by car or Uber is quick and easy. As the name suggests – Dreamhouse. 10 out of 10 – highly recommended!
