Courtyard Bali Nusa Dua Resort

Good family stay, but lacks the 5-star touch for long stays ​We stayed here for two weeks as a family of four (with two children). Overall, it was a correct and decent stay, but several details fell short of what you would expect from a 5-star resort. ​The Positives: ​Kids Club & Staff: Our children enjoyed the friendly staff and the creative activities, which always started on time. ​Facilities & Shuttle: The hourly beach shuttle was very practical (though it’s also an easy 20-minute walk), and housekeeping kept the room clean daily. ​The Negatives & Areas for Improvement: ​Lack of attention for long stays: We felt the hotel is mostly geared toward short stays. No special care was shown for our 14-night stay, and being strictly charged 100,000 IDR for an accidentally broken glass at checkout felt a bit petty. ​Organization issues: We booked a bike tour, arrived early, and were told to wait in the lobby, but the team completely forgot about us. ​Daily life details: There was very little entertainment during the day or evening, so there is not much to do except walk to the nearby Bali Collection mall. Also, while the creative activities at the kids club were great, the rest of the time the children were mostly left playing on video game consoles. ​Food & Housekeeping: Breakfast was good but felt repetitive after two weeks. On-site dining prices are quite high, close to Parisian standards. Finally, housekeeping frequently made mistakes, leaving only 2 towels instead of 4 after changing them. ​Conclusion: A decent hotel with good points, but these accumulated minor issues justify why it doesn't fully feel like a true 5-star experience yet.

**Pros:** * **Spacious & Activity-Packed:** The hotel is huge with plenty of functional space and a ton of free activities to choose from. * **Great Amenities:** It features a massive swimming pool, a gym, a kids' club, and ample parking. The room amenities are fully complete, and the bed is incredibly soft and comfortable. * **Excellent Service:** The staff are lovely, friendly, and very hospitable. * **Diverse Breakfast:** The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options **Cons / Things to Note:** * **Food Taste:** While there are many breakfast choices, the flavor didn't quite suit our palate. * **Room Location Matters:** * For our first 2 nights, we stayed in **Room 3004**, which was quite noisy due to its proximity to the restaurant and foot traffic from passing guests. * For the last 2 nights, we moved to **Room 1002**, which was excellent! It was peaceful, quiet, and well away from the crowds. "If you have children or toddlers, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s perfect for kids!"

From the moment I arrived, Courtyard by Marriott Nusa Dua completely exceeded expectations and set the tone for an unforgettable stay in Bali. The property itself is stunning—lush tropical surroundings, beautifully designed rooms, and serene views that make it feel like a private oasis. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Every team member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making each guest feel special. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the poolside access room—it completely elevated the entire experience. Stepping out of the room and having direct access to the pool felt like pure luxury. The room itself was beautifully designed, spacious, and spotless, with a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. Large sliding doors opened right onto a private terrace with comfortable chairs, making it easy to relax just steps from the water. If you’re considering upgrading your stay, I highly recommend the poolside access room. It adds a whole new level of comfort and makes the resort experience even more memorable. Dining at the resort was another standout. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with a great mix of local and international options. Every meal felt like an experience rather than just dining. Overall, this resort delivers on every level: luxury, service, comfort, and atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Bali.
