Offshore rock temple view at Tanah Lot Temple
Nusa Dua · Indonesia
About this experience
Tanah Lot stands on an offshore rock and is among the best-known temples in Bali. Waves strike the base of the cliffs while you look at the temple from the shore. In daytime light, the texture of the rock, the surf and the silhouette each offer their own photograph.
Rocks can be wet and slippery, so keep away from edges. Tides can affect access to the temple. Bring sun protection and a hat. The temple interior may be open only to worshippers.
