Country Inn El Nido

A nice and clean family-run hotel. Excellent breakfast (a selection of local and international dishes), a well-equipped room, comfortable beds, good air conditioning, a private bathroom — everything was in order, functional, and in good condition. The room had a small terrace. Friendly staff, good value. We arrived very late at night, and it was no problem to arrange such a late check-in and handle the formalities the next day. Unfortunately, there were two minor drawbacks. 1/ A large family of Asian tourists was staying at the same hotel, and they were making noise late at night, running and talking loudly in the hallways, constantly walking back and forth, slamming doors — even after we asked them to be quiet because we were tired and had to get up early in the morning—and none of the staff did anything about it. 2) Internet connection: Signal coverage in El Nido is extremely poor; you have a signal, but move 100 meters and you’re out of signal, and so on. The hotel has its own Wi-Fi, but it goes down the vast majority of the time. You may be connected to the Wi-Fi, but it isn’t connected to the internet for hours on end, and when it does connect, it’s slow and has massive outages.

I booked the executive suite with Sea view on the top floor. In the pictures on Agoda it seemed to be an unobstructed view over the bay, but there are new buildings now blocking the view partially. You still get a sea view, but take into account some more obstructions compared to the pictures online, you can check for my pictures of my stay in April 2026. Some of the staff at reception were friendly, some of them were not very. The room itself is nice, but the bathroom is incredibly basic, especially compared to the stylish room. The biggest disappointment is the breakfast, what a joke honestly. I took the American breakfast one day and another day the Filipino breakfast. With the Filipino breakfast I had 2 tiny sausages. For the price of over 5000 Pesos per night, this type of breakfast was truly a disappointment. Last day I just skipped breakfast to go eat somewhere else. Considering the price, everything is very basic and absolutely not worth the price. I wish I had stayed somewhere in the town, where I would get a very good room for this price. If you are working online, don't book this place. The wifi is very unstable and slow.
