At El Nido a boat takes you between limestone cliffs to lagoons and islands. By kayak you paddle through narrow openings into inner lagoons filled with clear water. Green water, sheer rock and quiet coves make up the area's best-known scenery.
Boat travel, paddling and swimming are involved. Wear comfortable quick-drying clothes, and bring sun protection and a waterproof pouch for the kayak. Seasickness precautions are wise. Do not touch the coral.
