Comfort Inn & Suites Alameda At Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Park

Lovely hotel. We needed a place to stop for the night and the price was right. I was more than impressed with the hospitality of the staff (everyone was SO nice!) and the cleanliness of the rooms - even the free breakfast was great. Beds were super comfortable as well and the rooms were surprisingly large. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re not trying to spend a fortune on a hotel and want a place that’s clean, comfortable and friendly.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. It's in a convenient part of Albuquerque and close to everything we needed. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. We reserved a room with two beds but were only given a king room with a sofa sleeper. The sofa sleeper was extremely uncomfortable. Its mattress was awful and if you slept the proper way all the blood would be in your head due too the horrible tilt of it. Must be broken. The room also wasn't clean. The counters were sticky, the microwave was dirty, and the overall condition left a lot to be desired. What concerned me most was the door. It looked like the lock had been ripped off multiple times and simply drilled back into place. It didn't inspire much confidence in the room's security. The outside of the property wasn't much better. There was trash scattered throughout the parking lot and around the entrance, and the lobby floors were noticeably dirty. Additionally a construction crew was staying there and were partying outside in the parking lot late into the evening. We were even woken up by one outside arguing with someone on the phone outside our window. The location is excellent, but the hotel itself feels very neglected. It has the appearance of a property in a much rougher part of town, which was surprising given where it's located. I hope management invests in better maintenance and cleanliness because the location deserves a much better hotel.

My husband and I spent 1 night here on our Route 66 trip. The location was perfect for our sunrise hot air balloon ride with Rainbow Ryders. The hotel lobby and our room were both very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Highest praise for Marcella at the front desk… upon check-in, she offered to set up breakfast the next morning an hour earlier than the posted time, just so we could eat a good meal before our excursion!!! When we got up the next morning, Marcella greeted us with a smile and a great breakfast spread plus hot coffee!!! She truly cares about her customers and her job!!!
