Comfort Hotel Nagoya Meiekiminami

Comfort Hotel Nagoya Meieki Minami was a very solid stay for my Nagoya trip. The room was clean and functional, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. I also liked the bright lobby area, the free coffee and drinks, and the simple breakfast options, which were a nice way to start the day ☕🥞 The location is convenient if you don’t mind a short walk to Nagoya Station, and there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which made things easy. Staff were polite and helpful throughout the stay, and check-in felt smooth. The only small downside was that breakfast seating could get busy at peak time, but overall it was still a pleasant and good-value hotel.

We found the hotel on Booking. We chose stay one night with breakfast, we sure breakfast need to pay more. w⁠(⁠°⁠ｏ⁠°⁠)⁠w When we came to the hotel, it showed breakfast was free.(⁠☉⁠｡⁠☉⁠)⁠!(⁠˘⁠･⁠_⁠･⁠˘⁠) So, we registered the member of Comfort Hotel. We thought be the member of Comfort Hotel would be better to reservate on Booking.⊙⁠.⁠☉ The floor of bathroom was obliquely which helped water to the drain outlet.(⁠☆⁠▽⁠☆⁠) It was so cool~ (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠) You needed to pay more attention when you took the shower. At night, the hotel provided free clam soup on the second floor. (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)⁠❤ Clam soup was hot, but no clam shell. Maybe it was simple and convenient staff.Sometimes, some customers might doubt Clam soup was real or used soup packets? We found hand-made map. It was useful and cute.(⁠灬⁠º⁠‿⁠º⁠灬⁠)⁠♡ Breakfast was rich. I liked Mackerel flakes which I eat with bowls of rice.(⁠ㆁ⁠ω⁠ㆁ⁠) I suggested everyone came to eat breakfast earlier. When time near the finishing line, food was not be replenished again. (Including rice.)(⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠)

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, and we arrived after a long day of hiking and enjoying the Japanese mountains, looking forward to resting. Unfortunately, our experience with the room arrangements was very disappointing. We were a group of six people with six rooms booked, but each room had one very small double bed, which was not suitable for two people. We asked if the rooms could be changed to twin rooms with two individual beds, but we were told there would be an additional charge. Due to poor communication and a lack of helpfulness from the staff, we ended up having to pay for an extra room. The situation was frustrating and could have been handled much better with clearer communication and more understanding from the hotel. Overall, the location was lovely, but the service and handling of the issue left us feeling disappointed and unsupported.
