Clarion Hotel Oslo Airport

I had a decent stay at Clarion Hotel & Congress Oslo Airport. The hotel is convenient for the airport, and the room was clean and comfortable. While everything was well organized, the overall experience felt fairly standard and didn’t particularly stand out. Overall, it’s a reliable option for an overnight stay before or after a flight.

Overall a decent stay very close to the Oslo airport. Room was tidy and spotless, which is what I value most in a hotel. The breakfast is perhaps by far the best I have ever had at any hotel, with a huge selections of hot food, pastry, fruit and others. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. Only downside is that the hotel is also a big convention center and can be noisy. Apparently during my stay there was a convention going on and people were very loud in the hallway at 2 am. Not the fault of the hotel (would be better if the staff can gently remind people to be quiet tho), but just something to be aware of

The service was excellent the staff were all fluent in English and willing to assist us. We picked the hotel because it was close to the airport and we had 3 days in Norway. It is not close to Oslo and so if you want to visit Oslo this is not the best choice. However although there are no restaurants nearby their restaurant had good food and a very large buffet breakfast that had many delicious options. The hotel is currently being renovated so it’s like a construction site with loud hammers and areas roped off. The biggest downside is that it does not have air conditioning. This is not unusual for Norway but we were there when it was very hot and fans were inadequate. We tried to find another hotel but none close by had air conditioning. So it was pretty hard to sleep. There is free WiFi and a shuttle to the airport which makes it a prime spot if you have to catch flights or have a layover. Again the staff were extremely accommodating.
