As a frequent traveler of someone who has stayed at many hotels, this hotel is at the absolute bottom of my list. My number one issue was the parking lot, which was located two and a half blocks away from the actual hotel! There is a blue van normally parked infront of the hotel with the words “Athens Shuttle” on it and yet we were never shuttled to our vehicle. The hotel has the nerve to charge us customers each night to use their parking lot 2.5 blocks away. Aside from the fact that our parking lot was a walk, there were several issues with our actual hotel room. The lobby was extremely hot, to begin with, and there were absolutely no elevators. We were met with 3 cases of stairs to haul up all of our belongings. Once in our room we noticed the bathroom door did not close at all. The ceiling fans had black piled up dirt on blades. The windows were unlocked and outside our window was a small patio where anyone could easily climb in our room. The garbage disposal didn’t work what so ever, and I booked for a King size bed and was given a full size bed. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a great experience overall. The location is great and close to a lot of good spots in Downtown Houston. Justin was very friendly and helpful, he helped us out with any questions we had. He gave us a great customer service experience during our entire stay. However, the night shift lady was not very friendly unfortunately and she wouldn’t really greet us back when we would greet her. The property and rooms are very clean & housekeeping does a great job as well.
