Ta Prohm temple ruins entwined with giant tree roots
Siem Reap · Cambodia
About this experience
Ta Prohm is a temple within Angkor that the forest has half swallowed. Huge tree roots wrap around stone walls, doorways and roofs, creating a scene where nature and architecture are tangled together. Wandering the shaded, quiet corridors feels like discovering a lost city.
Clothing that covers shoulders and knees is required. The ground is uneven and stony, so bring comfortable non-slip shoes and water. Early morning is calmer and cooler.
