Sacred Monkey Forest walk among monkeys

In a forest near the centre of Ubud, you walk among stone statues and moss-covered steps. Misty, cool and thick with vegetation, the forest is a temple site where macaques roam freely. Nature, animals and a sense of sacred ground come together on one walk.

Do not carry food, and hold your glasses and phone firmly. Avoid contact with the animals and do not stare at them. Wear shoes with grip for the slippery ground.
