Stonehenge prehistoric stone circle visit
London · United Kingdom
About this experience
On Salisbury Plain, standing stones rise against the horizon, a monument that has reached us from five thousand years ago. You walk around the circle, take in the size and arrangement of the stones and wonder how people managed it. It is a quiet, open-air stop reaching into prehistory.
The site is exposed to wind, so a waterproof and an extra layer are wise. Early morning and late afternoon give softer light for photographs.
