Scenic flight over the Nazca Lines in a small plane
Nazca · Peru
About this experience
A small plane glides low over the Nazca desert. As the pilot banks the wing, enormous shapes etched into the ground come into view: the scale of the ancient geoglyphs only makes sense from above. The vast, dry, empty horizon adds weight to the scene.
The flight is short, but the cabin is small and the banking can unsettle anyone prone to motion sickness. Keep to a light meal beforehand and fix your eyes on a distant point. Clear air matters for photos.
