Glacier and wildlife cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park

The boat leaves Seward and enters the narrow inlets of Kenai Fjords National Park. Along coasts where glaciers meet the sea, cliffs, forested slopes and mountain peaks line up. Sea lions, whales and seabirds may appear along the way, each in its own habitat and without any set routine.

Even in spring and summer it is cool on the water, so dress in layers and bring binoculars. The sea can be lively, so take precautions if you are prone to seasickness. Scan both the water and the rocks for animals.
