The walkway leads to the spot where the main flow of the falls gathers. From the end of the platforms, water thunders down, mist rises and the surrounding rainforest fills the frame. The view is deep, the sound powerful and the minutes pass quickly.
The route is long and can be crowded in places. Mornings are calmer and give better light. Spray can wet your camera, so carry a lens cloth. A light rain jacket and shoes with grip are recommended.
