About this experience
In Caminito, in the La Boca district, house fronts are painted yellow, blue, red and green. A couple dances tango in the middle of the street, painters work to one side and music plays at the tables. The lane is as much a stage as a museum.
The street is short but busy, so carry your bag in front of you. Tipping performers is common, so keep some small change. The bright colours come out best in morning and late afternoon light.
