Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa

What a great historic place to stay in the national park. The site offers a spa and three little museums for old cars, water mill, and vodka destillery. All can be visited free with the guest card. Great offer, we enjoyed them all. The room was furnished pretty old fashioned and the bath was not totally clean. We used the chance to eat at the very good restaurant. Good food and superb service. Maybe not for families with kids, but for a couple a nice venue. The spa is okay, but is being used by families with small children and lots of adults and kids are ignoring sauna rules. That really missed our relax time. All in all and for a very reasonable price we can recommend this great manor. Some minor improvements as always possible.

Overall we were very satisfied, but there are a few things to consider ​The rooms are fine, bathrobes and slippers are provided in the room. The territory is large and well-kept, with plenty of space for a walk, and there is a huge garden. Guests staying at the hotel have access to the museum buildings. The spa is decent, but it's not designed for kids — not sure why people bring them here. ​The food at both the restaurant and the tavern (kõrts) is delicious, and the breakfast is good. ​As for the downsides: I’d say it’s not very stroller- or wheelchair-accessible (for children and people with disabilities). The eco-farm was a disappointment. There was just one sad goat on the whole territory, along with some chickens and rabbits. The enclosures were very dirty, and the chicken area was completely overgrown with grass. Management really needs to pay proper attention to this. ​That being said, overall we were very happy with our stay!

We had a wonderful dinner on the beautiful outdoor balcony at the Manor Restaurant. Our server, Tom, was an exceptional host—polite, friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about his work. Every time he served a dish, he took the time to explain what we were about to enjoy, which made the experience feel even more personal. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Every plate had thoughtful details such as edible flowers. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we would happily return.
