Spa Hotel Jagdhof

I really loved this hotel! I had the best time here with my family during our holiday vacation. The food was excellent — no complaints at all. The hotel room and amenities were superb as well. I’m giving it four stars only because I wasn’t completely satisfied with my massage experience at the spa. The masseuse simply applied a lot of oil and lightly glided her palms over my body without enough pressure. In addition, the session ended too quickly, which left both me and my husband dissatisfied.

I don’t write reviews very often, but, for your sake whoever you are reading this… the Jagdhof is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and my partner and I have travelled to 30 countries and stayed in many hotels. Simply exquisite, I actually had to fight tears leaving it was that good. You will feel a level of hospitality and that you’ve never felt in your life, there is no detail that they haven’t optimized. From bringing your bags up to your room while you enjoy a welcome drink by the fireplace, to the way the servers open the menu for you right to the first page that needs your attention… it was just blissful. Spa was the best spa we’ve ever been to - you could spend 5 hours there and not get bored, there must be like 15 different rooms/pools/caves/saunas from cold to hot - and they’re all clean, artistically beautiful, and well balanced (not too many people). Rooms are incredible, we were upgraded by surprise and even had a sauna in the room! Pool is unbelievable - the indoor to outdoor door is so cool - view is amazing. We were invited to curling on an ice rink one evening, was super fun meeting Christina who runs the hotel (has for decades) - the sense of community we felt meeting other guests and then having a drink at the bar with our piano man in the background while the fire was going… other worldly. Genuinely convinced we need to come annually to experience this - would rate 10 stars if I could. Please go.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Jagdhof Spa and truly enjoyed every aspect of our visit. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and very cozy, offering a perfect place to unwind after a day in the mountains. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm, elegant, and well organized. The spa and wellness area is excellent and exactly what you expect from a high-end alpine spa hotel — relaxing, spacious, and well maintained. Food was a real highlight. The cuisine was flavorful, nicely presented, and thoughtfully prepared. Breakfast offered a great variety, afternoon snacks were enjoyable, and the caffè latte was smooth and well made. A very special thank you goes to our waiters, Martina and Linda — they were absolutely wonderful. Always friendly, attentive, smiling, and ready to help with anything. Their service truly made a difference and added a very personal touch to our stay. We were also incredibly grateful for the help from the hotel owners Christina and Armin and the hotel director Marcus when our car broke down. Their personal involvement, kindness, and willingness to assist went far beyond what is normally expected and turned a stressful situation into a manageable one. Overall, Hotel Jagdhof Spa combines excellent service, great food, wonderful wellness facilities, and genuinely caring people. We would happily return and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality alpine getaway.
