Quinta Jardins do Lago

We had lunch at the pool bistro and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with stunning gardens and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it a wonderful place to relax. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal, although we have had even better food elsewhere on the island. That said, the beautiful surroundings and relaxing ambience more than made up for it. The hotel itself looked elegant, tranquil, and exceptionally well maintained. It definitely felt like the kind of place where you could unwind for a few days, and it's somewhere I would happily consider staying on a future visit. Overall, a lovely spot for a leisurely lunch in a gorgeous setting.

One of the most enjoyable places we have ever been. We were lucky to stay in the Heritage Junior Suites in the old part of the hotel and we were absolutely delighted. The hotel staff is charming, super professional, fulfilled every wish and made our stay unforgettable. The hotel itself is fantastic, and offers everything what you need. Pool area is awesome and a 32° outdoor Jacuzzi is fantastic even if the wind is chilly. A must visit! PS: Say hello to Colombo 🐢

An absolutely spectacular hotel. The property is set within a historic estate, and from the moment you arrive, you can feel its unique character and charm. While the buildings are old and full of history, everything is exceptionally well maintained and cared for. The rooms are large, spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The breakfast is truly outstanding, not only because of the quality and variety of the food, but also because it is served in the beautiful gardens, making every morning feel special. The gym is not large, but it has all the essential equipment. The swimming pool is excellent and a perfect place to relax. What really sets this hotel apart, however, are the gardens. They are simply breathtaking. Every corner is beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. The grounds are essentially a botanical garden, with gardeners constantly caring for an incredible collection of plants, flowers, and trees. Each path leads to another stunning view, and the panoramic outlook over Funchal is the perfect finishing touch. One of the most beautiful hotel properties I have ever visited. Highly recommended.
