Krallerhof

The hotel itself is good, but not amazing as it’s described. I’m gonna describe some aspects that need to be improved. Decoration is very random, modern in some areas of the hotel and super old and without any sense in others, even sometimes mixing. I understand that is an old hotel, but it should have a purpose and personality in terms of decoration. The rooms give me the same feeling. That’s what gives a feeling of 10/10 to a hotel like this. And advice: keep the beauty of the old soul of the hotel, don’t try to go modern, that will always stay out of date. My second advice is to improve in client service. Really, a hotel of this level needs exquisite attention since you arrive. The receptionists (all…) are not at that level. Bad faces, not motivated, snobby attitude, not nice at all. Only two of the waiters were nice, the rest didn’t attend you nicely, the opposite. The spa, very nice. Only aspect I didn’t like was the stupid music of the bar. Doesn’t align with the purpose and character of the hotel… I felt I was in a beach club in Ibiza. That’s not how you ambient a retreat hotel, even less if it’s in the middle of the mountain. The food, AMAZING! 10/10. Very tasty, well cooked an chosen. The spot where it is is perfect. Beautiful surroundings. To sum up: a good hotel, that is at the level of a 3-4 stars one because of a lack of a good client service, taste in decoration and of purpose. My advice to the hotel: go deeper into your roots, that’s your character. With the “modern” image of it you’re just going away of what makes you beautiful. Congrats for the rest!

We had an amazing time at the Krallerhof. It is an extremely well run hotel. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. The hotel is stunning, the pool and lake area is beautiful. The spa area is wonderful and so clean and spacious. The food is excellent, great choice at breakfast and evening meal is excellent. We will definitely return!

We saw the hotel about a year ago online on instagram and we immediately wanted to book it. We were a bit afraid that maybe the reality would't meet our expectations, but it was beyond everything we had hoped for. We had one of our most amazing holiday's ever. There were so many things to do which we love because we are very active people. But at the same time it was very nice to relax at the pool. The restaurant was amazing and all the employees were so nice. We are definitely coming back!
