Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino, an Ascend Hotel Collection Member

We stayed at the Downtown Grand in June for a friends wedding, and it was a great experience. I'm writing this review because I read WAY too many when we were trying to plan our first trip to Vegas and felt like there was a lot of conflicting info. We wanted a quiet room, it was super important to us so the front desk put us in a room at the back side of the Gallery Tower. If you're able, definitely spend the few extra dollars for the Gallery Tower, it's newer and compared to some of the other people we knew who stayed in the older section, it was really nice and the AC was really good (you can mess with the settings to get it to run all night). The room was nice and updated, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room could have used a deep clean for some dust and stuff but let's be honest, every hotel is like that unless it's brand new. The location was great, we felt very safe walking around together on the main streets and getting a lyft/Uber is extremely easy. There are many different restaurants in walking distance as well. Book direct through the hotel website for their current deals, we got food and bev comp and free drink tickets. Also the rooms do not have a fridge or microwave which everyone seems to complain about but it clearly offered me the option to add one to our room when booking for $20 a day. Also the elevators in the hotel worked fine, you have to hold the card for a long time, which they clearly tell you at check in but we watched people over and over again ignoring that and complaining 😒. The casino is small but we enjoyed it too. We would stay again!

Our stay at the Downtown Grand Las Vegas was amazing! We were both celebrating our birthdays and stayed on the 25th floor, where we had a spectacular view overlooking the entire city of Las Vegas. Wesley at the front desk made our experience even better. He was extremely friendly, always smiling, and made us feel genuinely welcome. For me to remember an associate’s name says a lot—he truly made a lasting impression! And when I saw him wearing a Cowboys jersey on Sunday, that was definitely an extra plus! Thank you, Wesley, for the exceptional service and for helping make our birthday celebration so memorable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #LetsGoCowboys

Wonderful stay at the Downtown Grand. We came to Vegas to see a show at the Sphere and had previously stayed at the Grand in the past. We opted for early check in as our flight arrived in the early morning. Check in was efficient with no long lines. The best part of our stay was sitting at the center bar and be attended to by the absolutely fabulous Pedro. The Grand is lucky to have Pedro. He is friendly and gave us amazing service and conversation. I also want to provide a shout out to Vance who set us up with players club cards right at our seats at the bar and continued to check in on us throughout our stay, Vance is also a valuable resource to the Grand. We will always stay at the Grand when we come to Vegas in the future.
