Conningbrook Hotel

We had such a lovely Mother’s Day at Conningbrook Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and attentive They really made the whole experience feel special. The carvery was lovely. Everything was fully stocked, fresh, and delicious. There was a great selection. The quality of the food was spot on. Overall, it was a perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and delicious food. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great location for the tunnel and cheap for the night. Pet friendly also. The only downsides were the room smelled like animals and was incredibly hot during the heatwave. The floor upstairs was incredibly creeky and the people above us were up at 3am walking around for at least 30mins. England match was on also and even with the windows closed it was still very loud with people in the courtyard. Breakfast was to be left out for us early but they never did and the room as locked.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The ambience in the room was a lovely welcome with the radio playing relaxing classical and the bed lights on and a nice delicate scent. Just what we needed after a strenuous/emotional few days combined with a long drive. The cleaning was of very high standard. The food in the pub/restaurant was excellent. The breakfasts plentiful. All staff were absolutely great and happy to help. One thing though as you don't provide room service every day (which is ok) the replenishment of tea/coffee facilities eg clean mugs and teabags etc would have been appreciated. But when the room is serviced..excellent quality.
