Basma Hotel

Not sure why this hotel ratings is 3.9. The hotel rooms are pretty much good. It’s clean and hygienic. The service is hospitable thanks to Reham and all on-ground team and also the pool is amazing. They offered us a free sunset cruise trip which was highlight of our stay in Aswan. ❤️🙏🏼 The location is perfect. It’s 5 - 7 mins walk from Corniche. There is Carrefour 5 mins away also. The hotel is wheelchair friendly. Breakfast was good but could be better and that’s my only remark.

Upon our arrival, they upgraded us to a beautiful room with an enormous terrace with views to the Nile (and the pool) with a connected door to my kids room. No extra charges for this. The rooms were big, the beds really comfortable. They provided us with tons of amenities. We couldn’t enjoy the pool because it was cold (mid March). My kids loved playing billiard. Breakfast was great, the restaurant itself, could be way better. Overall we are happy with our stay there.

Not sure why the rating is so low for this hotel. We only stayed for a night but the hotel was very nice, we enjoyed the pool and it offers the view of a beautiful sunset. The rooms are clean and comfy, the only issue is the door in between rooms which allows you to hear everything happening next door. The food at the restaurant was amazing and the portions were quite big.
