They were incredibly helpful, kind, and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. His excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate his hard work and would definitely love to stay here again.

We’ve stayed at Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island before, but unfortunately standards have noticeably dropped. From check-in, the staff were not particularly welcoming and there were very few smiles, which isn’t what you expect from a premium Rixos property. The buffet food also became very repetitive. After raising this with the chef, changes were made and food was prepared more to our liking, which we appreciated, but guests shouldn’t really need to complain for this level of service. Housekeeping was another disappointment. Beds were made daily, but very little else seemed to be properly cleaned. We even had dead moths left on the worktops for the duration of our stay. The hotel’s biggest attraction is the waterpark, so check the opening days carefully before booking. Mondays are now closed, whereas previously there was limited access for hotel guests. The last Wednesday of the month is also ladies-only day. This means that on a 5-night stay you could potentially only get 3 usable waterpark days. Also bear in mind that waterpark access is not included on your checkout day, so a late flight doesn’t necessarily give you an extra day at the park. The resort itself still has plenty of potential and the waterpark remains a major attraction, but based on our previous visits, the overall Rixos standard has definitely slipped and needs improvement.
