Quality Hotel Ålesund

We've stayed 2 nights in the Quality Hotel Alesund and it was fantastic! For starters, the hotel is very beautiful with its Nordic clean and stylish aesthetic, but the all around kind and attentive service is something to be praised as well. The breakfast buffet was of very good quality, with extremely fresh ingridients, though the pastry options were few but still tasty. The bedroom was comfortable, even thought it was more on the smaller size and did look a bit older than the common areas, which were modern and elegant. The location was super convenient with fantastic views over the sea and all the hotel details were definitely thought to ensure a pleasant, cozy and comfortable stay: we loved the games available in the hotel lobby, as well as the complimentary coffee/tea and the brilliant live jazz concert that we were able to attend on the day we left that was taking place at the hotel lobby too. Thank you for such a nice stay, it was short but we loved the hotel and would definitely recommend it to everybody. Tusen takk! :)

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had mixed feelings about my experience. The room was quite small and did not meet my expectations. There was no refrigerator in the room, and the iron provided was practically unusable. What disappointed me the most was the housekeeping service: during my entire 4-night stay, the room was not serviced, and neither the towels nor the bed linen were changed. On the positive side, the restaurant was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. The entertainment facilities were outstanding, and the atmosphere was great. The view from the terrace was absolutely exceptional and worth mentioning. I also really enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, while the room and housekeeping service need significant improvement, the restaurant, entertainment area, terrace view, and breakfast made the stay more enjoyable.
