Mixed stay – friendly staff, but several disappointing issues Our stay was a mixed experience. The room was generally clean and comfortable, and most of the staff were friendly. A special mention must go to Daniel at the bar, who made an excellent mojito, and to the night manager, who was extremely helpful when we had an issue with noisy neighbours. Unfortunately, there were several problems. Shortly after checking in, we had lunch at the hotel. I ordered a burger and chips, while my girlfriend ordered an egg and chips dish. She found a hair in her food, so it had to be sent back. The portions were quite small for the price, and the chips were overcooked. We only had breakfast once. There was a good variety, but we felt it was overpriced for what was offered. Service was also quite slow and relaxed. We often found ourselves waiting for staff at the bar, and on our first morning we waited approximately 15 minutes for the pool to open. On our second night, we had to change rooms around midnight because of very loud neighbouring guests. The replacement room was similar, but it had a strong chemical smell and the air conditioning barely worked. The night manager handled the situation very well and gave us drinks vouchers, which we appreciated. However, the following day we were told by the bar staff that they could only be used for draught beer or soft drinks which neither of us drink. The rooftop pool was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel, but unfortunately it was cloudy and visibly dirty, with hair floating in the water. We could not clearly see our feet when standing in it, which was disappointing. There was also an issue at checkout. I was told there was an outstanding breakfast charge, but I explained that we had only eaten breakfast once and showed the payment on my banking app. I was told everything was fine, but the charge was then taken again after we arrived home. There were some very friendly and helpful members of staff, but overall the food, pool cleanliness, slow service, room change and incorrect charge made the stay disappointing for the price paid.

The hotel is very clean and nice. The staff is also nice and ready to help. The breakfast is varied with many different choices like sweer pastries, cold meat, fruit... The rooms are fine but for me the pillow was too high and I had trouble sleeping. Beware there is a big roundabout close and there is a lot of traffic even at night. The hotel is quite far from the old town, beaches... (15 min by city bus) so unless you call a taxi or uber, you will have to pay a bus fare to travel to the city centre.

We spent just under a week at this hotel may-june 2026. Lovely breakfast buffet, where I ate blueberry jam every morning, among other things. The fifth morning I did the same, but as I pressed the dispenser for blueberry jam, blueberries splattered all over my white knit short-sleeved top. The dispenser was almost empty of blueberry jam. After talking to the staff, I changed and they delivered the top to the laundry downstairs. A few hours later, my top was delivered to the room, neatly wrapped. The top was perfect. Big thanks to the staff who fixed my top. You are very talented. Not only that, in the evening a nice waiter delivered fresh fruit, chocolates, water and a card saying sorry for the accident. I was incredibly relieved when my top came back as good as new. Thank you so much.
