Kinugawa Onsen Hotel

My mother and I spent three nights at the Kinugawa Onsen Hotel, and enjoyed our stay immensely. It was our first Onsen experience and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, along with how accessible it was for those who had never used an Onsen before or could not speak any Japanese! All staff members went over and above with their courteousness, assistance and respect shown. The buffet was absolutely tremendous, particularly the dinner every night. Be sure to catch the performer who performs in the main lobby area every night at 8:30pm too, as he is incredibly talented and very funny - a very enjoyable watch!!! Lastly a big thank you to the very sweet and lovely reception staff member who spoke strong English and was able to support us travelling Australians who had no Japanese very very well. We really appreciate you making our stay even warmer than it already was!!! Thank you very much Kinugawa Onsen Hotel - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to hopefully being back sometime in the future!!!

Exceptional service from everyone. Sawano Haruka was our main contact at the reception due to her good English: her service was particularly attentive. Room was made up beautifully. Breakfast and dinner buffets had unlimited quality Japanese and Western food. The restuarant manager was friendly and helpful, and recommended specific Japanese food. Onsen choices were plentiful and relaxing, with mountain and river views.
