I booked this trip for my partners birthday, wasn’t sure what to expect from the hotel but it was perfect! We ended up getting there before check in and were able to leave our bags whilst we headed out. The hotel reception were so lovely . We checked in and had very kindly been upgraded to an executive room (we didn’t mention a birthday or anything, not sure if it was the only rooms left but we were very pleased!!) A massive room, comfy beds, air con, and the best part? The bath! The jacuzzi bath made my whole stay, I think the universe knew I needed a proper rest and it delivered. The hotel is a short walk into central and right by the museums with was perfect for us wanting to explore it all. It was quiet, and super secure. The staff were always so polite and recommending us things to do. 10/10 would stay here again when back in Amsterdam and recommend everyone getting an exec room.

Was an ok but unremarkable stay. The location is really quite nice - just removed enough from the hustle and bustle that it's quiet, but also accessible to the city within a short walk or tram ride. The rooms were not very clean - in the bathroom I couldn't tell if it was hard water stains or just hadnt been cleaned. We asked two times for the bathroom counter to be re cleaned because there was toothpaste left on the counter from the previous guest - it never got cleaned. They also do their housekeeping late in the afternoon, so we missed two cleanings because they came when we were trying to unwind from a busy day. Staff are very friendly, but just wasn't in love with the room.
The location is fantastic, walking distance to most, both shops, restaurants and museums. Easy to reach by public transport. Nice staff, good bed. Curtains, carpets and wallpaper have seen better days. Bathroom rundown but towels nice, could do with a refresh (limescale stains an…
