We had a great experience at the hotel. The location is excellent, close to a metro station, supermarkets, restaurants, and bakeries. The reception staff are friendly, and the front desk is open 24 hours, which made our very early checkout much easier. The room was very good, extremely clean, and the bathroom was excellent and seemed to be recently renovated. The room’s heating system works very well. Highly recommended!

I had a really lovely and comfortable stay at Hôtel Du Prince Eugène. The rooms are small but very Parisian and charming, and everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was especially comfortable which made my nights restful. The location could not be better with easy access to the metro and plenty of restaurants bakeries and supermarkets right nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Charles who was very helpfull & patient! I will definitely be back!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe other travellers should be aware of my experience. Before my stay, I noticed that the hotel's official website was offering a significantly lower rate than the price I had paid through Booking.com. I understand that hotel prices are dynamic, so I called the hotel simply to ask whether a partial refund or a goodwill gesture could be considered. Unfortunately, the conversation with the receptionist was extremely disappointing. I was repeatedly interrupted before I could finish explaining my concern, and instead of receiving a professional explanation, I was asked, "Is this your first time travel?" I found this remark dismissive, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate for someone working in hospitality. I later contacted Booking.com, and their customer service acknowledged that the communication I described was "inappropriate and unprofessional." Although the Front Office Manager later replied politely by email, the hotel ultimately chose not to address the receptionist's behaviour and only referred to the cancellation policy. In this case, I no longer felt comfortable staying at the property and decided to cancel my stay. Every hotel has the right to enforce its cancellation policy. However, every guest also deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
