Hilton Garden Inn Kota Kinabalu Tuaran

Originally booked a 1 night stay at Hilton Garden Inn with another 2 friends , but after arriving and experiencing the beautiful environment and relaxing atmosphere, we decided to extend our stay for another night. This 3d2n trip has been one of the best resort experiences we've had. Since the resort is still relatively new, there are naturally a few small areas that could be improved. For example, the bicycles were unavailable during our stay, and YouTube on the room TV wasn't working. However, we didn't really need to use it, so we didn't raise the issue. Unfortunately, it also rained during most of our stay, so we couldn't enjoy many of the outdoor activities, which was completely beyond the resort's control. We also noticed that bathroom amenities are provided upon request by scanning the QR code in the room, and they were delivered promptly. Therefore, there wasn't any issue with amenities not being available. Despite these small inconveniences, they did not affect our overall experience at all. What truly made this stay exceptional was the outstanding hospitality from every member of the team. Every staff member we met was professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. We would especially like to thank Resort Manager Barry. Whenever we shared feedback or raised any concerns, he listened carefully, responded sincerely, and always did his very best to find a solution. What impressed us even more was that he followed up proactively afterward to make sure everything had been resolved and that we were enjoying our stay. We also met Security Guard Barry, who was incredibly warm and patient. He kindly drove us around the resort in the buggy, introduced us to the facilities and activities we could still enjoy, and made us feel very welcome. Even on the day of our checkout, he continued to offer his assistance with genuine kindness. A big thank you as well to Wan from the KKRC tour team. He was one of the friendliest and most enthusiastic guides we met during our stay. His passion and hospitality made the experience even more memorable too. We are also very grateful to Amir, who worked in the restaurant. Throughout both evenings, he consistently provided excellent service. He handled every request efficiently, was incredibly helpful, and always made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Thanks to him, our dinner and after hours experiences were smooth, enjoyable, and relaxing. Another special mention goes to Chef Lan. He was exceptionally kind, approachable, and always tried his best to accommodate our small requests with a warm smile. His genuine hospitality left a wonderful impression on us. Although we've mentioned a few staff members by name because they left such a lasting impression, every staff member we encountered was professional, welcoming, and eager to help. The level of hospitality throughout the resort exceeded our expectations and made us feel truly valued as guests. While we were a little disappointed that the weather prevented us from enjoying some of the resort's facilities, the incredible service from the staff more than made up for it. They turned what could have been a good stay into a truly memorable one. Thank you to everyone at Hilton Garden Inn for giving us such a wonderful and unforgettable short getaway. We sincerely hope the resort continues to grow and become even better. We will definitely return in the future and highly recommend this resort to others.

Had a really pleasant stay. Special thanks to Eric at the front desk for being so helpful and accommodating from the moment we checked in. All the staff were friendly, polite and attentive. The buggy service was a huge plus, especially with the resort being quite big and the weather being so hot. We enjoyed the complimentary sunset cruise, and the firefly cruise did not disappoint! Room was spacious, clean, NEW and well maintained. Breakfast was average, but overall we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely return for our next holiday.

A truly pleasant and relaxing experience from start to finish. The resort offers a peaceful, clean and comfortable environment, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. What I particularly appreciate is the resort’s luxurious yet charming countryside concept. Despite being located away from the town centre, the resort is well-equipped with comprehensive facilities, so guests have everything they need for a comfortable and relaxing stay without having to leave the property. The food was another highlight. The selection was well-prepared, delicious and of good quality, making the dining experience equally enjoyable. For anyone looking for a place that combines tranquillity, comfort and a touch of luxury with the charm of a countryside setting, I would highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran. A wonderful place to slow down, unwind and simply enjoy the surroundings. Definitely worth a visit, and I would be happy to return again.
