Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza

My accommodation was room 421 from August 2nd to the 6th, after which I was relocated to room 321 for the concluding 12 hours of my visit. My primary concern centered on the dreadful service. I repeatedly had to request the same item, specifically a bathrobe, more than three times, ultimately receiving it nearly an hour after my initial inquiry. Furthermore, the initial room was in a state of disrepair, and the restroom emitted a very foul odor. I reported this issue, and they assured me someone would attend to it within five minutes, around 10 PM. However, no one arrived until the morning, necessitating another request from me. Moreover, certain staff members exhibited an unwelcoming demeanor, seemingly disregarding my statements or displaying indifference, such as the service by the pool. I requested a straightforward beverage, and it took them 40 minutes to deliver it after I had inquired about it multiple times. Conversely, Nasr from the buffet staff was exceptionally genial and accommodating. While the cuisine wasn't flawless, it wasn't terrible; it was rather uninspired, and occasionally, I discovered foreign objects in my meals. In my room, there was a price list from which I ordered food, yet I was overcharged by 500. When I questioned this, they claimed it was an outdated list and implied it was my error. Nevertheless, the guest relations representative, Dalia, was very pleasant and made several attempts to assist. After reaching my limit, I requested to speak with a manager, which provided some minor solace. However, by that point, I no longer felt inclined to prolong my visit, as I had initially intended, all due to the disrespectful treatment and repeated disregard I experienced. This was precisely contrary to my expectation when choosing Hilton, anticipating superior service compared to other hotels that cost almost a quarter of Hilton's price, some of which offered better service!

Our stay at Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel combines luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality in every detail. The rooms were spacious, elegant, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The breakfast offered an excellent variety of fresh, high-quality food, and the restaurants served delicious meals with outstanding service. What made our experience especially memorable was the professionalism and genuine warmth of the staff. Every team member was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel valued throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is another major advantage, with direct access to Green Plaza Mall, making shopping, dining, and entertainment incredibly convenient. The facilities, including the swimming pools, fitness center, and spa, were well maintained and added to the overall experience. I highly recommend Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza to anyone visiting Alexandria, whether for business, a family vacation, or a relaxing getaway. It truly delivers the high standards expected from Hilton.

​I recently stayed at the Hilton Green Plaza, and overall, I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. While there are a few areas that reflect the hotel's age, the exceptional service and amenities more than made up for it. I would definitely stay here again. ​The main drawback of the property is that the facilities are a little dated. I had a bit of a hard time utilizing the older electricity sockets, and the TV in the room was an older model. However, the fantastic news is that ongoing renovations are currently underway. With these upgrades in motion, I am highly optimistic that by next year, all the rooms will be completely ​The true highlight of the stay was the staff—everyone was super friendly and accommodating. A special shout-out goes to Ms. Samar and Mr. Diab from the restaurant team; it was an absolute pleasure meeting them, and their hospitality truly elevated our dining experience. ​ ​The hotel offers excellent leisure facilities. You have two great pool options: a comfortable, heated indoor pool and a refreshing outdoor pool. Additionally, guests have complimentary access to the spa facilities, including the sauna, hot tub, and steam room, which was a wonderful bonus for relaxation. ​ ​The location is incredibly convenient as the hotel is integrated right inside a shopping mall. This gives you instant, walking-distance access to a massive variety of retail shops, vibrant cafes, and diverse restaurants right at your doorstep. ​ ​Despite the older room fixtures, the combination of stellar service, great amenities, and unbeatable location makes this a fantastic choice. I will definitely be returning on my next visit, especially to see the newly renovated rooms!
