Amazing hotel, the experience will spoil you vs other hotels even of the same quality. Modern rooms, the view of the Matterhorn is amazing and breakfast is delightful with the live piano player. I stayed for one night at Grand Hotel Zermatterhof in late March and it exceeded my expectations! The hotel is centrally located and blends traditional Swiss charm with excellent service. The team from the porter to front desk to ski room staff to breakfast manager upholds high standards of service. I happened to stay at the hotel on my birthday, and the breakfast manager pleasantly surprised me with a royal breakfast treatment! I will come back again!

Despite our visit to Zermatt being brief, the Zermatterhof team made the visit exceptional for my partner’s birthday. We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived in Zermatt, greeted by one of their vehicles at the station to ferry us and our bags. The reception team were warm and friendly, even the hotel manager stopping to greet us. We were given a ticket for a free welcoming drink from their beautiful Stars bar. The room was incredibly spacious and well appointed with warm wooden furnishing, a large comfortable bed, a well equipped set up for coffee and tea, complimentary wine and chocolate and a lovely bathroom. We particularly enjoyed use of the hotel pool and spa, especially the saunas and the outdoor jacuzzi, enjoying the night sky and stars whilst soaking! Breakfast was an exceptional array in a beautiful room with a lovely glass ceiling. Truly we would love to return some day!
