We had a wonderful experience at Hotel El Cortijo & Spa in Chefchaouen. The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful mountain views. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the facilities are well maintained. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The breakfast was varied and delicious, making our stay even more enjoyable. A great choice for anyone visiting Chefchaouen—we highly recommend it and look forward to coming back.

- Hotel in an amazing mountain location - We stayed here as a group of 15 people — three families across four apartments — and had a fantastic time. The location is beautiful, with absolutely stunning mountain views. The whole place has a real resort feel and is a great choice for families. There are four different pools of varying depths, as well as slides for adults and teenagers and a smaller slide for younger children. Our two-year-old was even able to stand comfortably in the shallowest pool, which was perfect for little ones. Because the water is shallower, it also felt warmer than the other pools and was a lovely place to relax. The apartments were very nicely decorated, with a lot of attention to detail. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel is around a 20-minute drive from Chefchaouen, so it is also well located for visiting the city. One day, we walked for around an hour from the hotel along the road towards a small village and then back again. The teenagers really enjoyed it. If you enjoy walking and have time to spare, then we would definitely recommend exploring the surrounding area and then coming back to cool off in the pool. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families. We hope to come back again soon!

We were stuck after the road to Chefchaoun flooded and our hotel in Tangier (El Minzah) refused to help us. The staff here were so friendly and welcoming, they gave us a place to dry off and managed to find someone local to take us back to Tangier, even though all the taxis were stuck. They really saved us despite the fact we weren't even staying in their hotel!
