Conrad Koh Samui

Visited for a short 3 days stay, and the resort and staff exceeded my expectations. Check-in was prompt, and Bill and Mary at reception were so friendly and knowledgeable when introducing the resort and available activities. I was also given a free upgrade to the Five Islands room, and it was beautiful. The view was amazing, room was spacious, and the water in the private pool always cool and perfect for a soak. Housekeeping kept the room spotless, and the turn-down service included yummy cookies and a really cute handmade mini turtle plushie. It was such a peaceful retreat and I’m already planning my next trip back. Thank you to everyone at Conrad Koh Samui for making it such a wonderful stay!

This resort was absolute heaven. During my time on Koh Samui I stayed at four different 5‑star properties, and this one stood out as the best by far. I was in Villa 206, with a king bed and sweeping ocean views. Its location was ideal, close enough to the main pool and breakfast area that I could walk instead of waiting for a buggy. At checkout, the staff asked if there was anything I would change, and I genuinely had no suggestions—my stay was perfect, and I will absolutely return. My only critique relates to pre‑arrival communication. I stayed at two Hilton and two Marriott properties on the island, and the Marriott hotels excelled at reaching out beforehand. They emailed to ask about dining preferences and notified me if upgrades were available, which made it easy to arrange reservations or activities in advance. That small touch of proactive communication was something I missed here. The resort’s location is also worth noting. It sits on the far side of the island, away from shopping areas and the airport. When I transferred from another hotel, it took several attempts to secure a Grab driver willing to make the trip out, though leaving the resort was much easier. Despite the remoteness, the property offers plenty of activities and excellent dining options, so you never feel isolated. In short: flawless stay, breathtaking villa, and a resort I’ll happily return to.

Our stay at Conrad Koh Samui was easily one of the best on our Thailand trip this year. The private pool made it hard to want to leave the villa at all. Dining was a real strength here. Breakfast at Aow Thai every morning was consistently good and we also enjoyed meals at Azure. Dinner at Jahn stood out as a highlight of the whole stay and having an in-villa floating breakfast one morning was such a lovely surprise touch. We also had a wonderful couples spa treatment at Conrad Spa, which was a great way to unwind after days of exploring. The transfers to and from the airport were smooth and the staff throughout our stay were warm and attentive. Highly recommend Conrad Koh Samui for couples looking for a relaxing, well rounded escape.
