Sunset Kecak fire dance performance at Uluwatu Temple
Bali · Indonesia
About this experience
At a cliff-top temple facing the ocean in Uluwatu, the Kecak dance is staged as the sun sets. The rhythmic chanting of many voices, fire and movement come together while the sea behind turns red. It is a powerful evening for watching Balinese culture performed in harmony with nature.
Macaques are common at Uluwatu, so hold glasses, hats and small items tightly. You may be asked to cover shoulders and knees in the temple area. Arrive early for seating.
