Chao Phraya River longtail boat cruise through historic canals
Bangkok · Thailand
About this experience
You move along side canals of the river that runs through Bangkok in a traditional long-tail boat. Wooden houses, small temples and floating sellers line the banks, showing the old water-facing side of the city away from the tall buildings. The engine sound and the curve of the water set the rhythm of the trip.
4 of our tour programmes contain this experience. The physical load is light. The boat is open and spray can reach you, so sun protection and a water-resistant bag help. In hot, humid weather, water and light, pale clothes add comfort. Cover shoulders and knees near temples.
