SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Yas Island

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi sits on Yas Island and is built around one idea: the link between life on Earth and the ocean. Eight themed realms share one roof, with rides, hands-on experiences, shows, restaurants and shops.

More than 100,000 marine animals live here, including the region's largest multi-species aquarium. Plan for over 15 interactive rides and experiences, more than 10 close animal encounters and over 100 animal presentations. Live characters and performances run through the day. There are 17 places to eat and 13 to shop.

The park also hosts Rescue Yas Island. It is the region's first center dedicated to marine research, rescue, rehabilitation and return to the wild.

Yas Island is 10 minutes from Abu Dhabi Airport, 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi city and 40 minutes from Dubai. The park opens daily from 10:00 to 20:00, though hours can shift with the season.

Children under 12 must be with an adult aged 18 or over. Dress modestly, in line with UAE culture. In the laboratory classrooms, flip-flops and open-toed shoes are not allowed. Tie back long hair, tie your laces and secure your glasses. Bring photo ID or a passport, comfortable clothes and closed shoes.

Outside food and drink stay at home, apart from small water bottles. Glass items, balloons, straws and lids, drones, scooters, bikes, segways, roller skates, skateboards, pets and sharp or hazardous objects are also banned. Service animals are allowed in special cases.

Entry covers the park and all themed realms and shows. Transport, food and drink, and personal spending are not included.
